First Shift Position for Punch Press Set-up/Operator. Operate and handle using established standard operating procedures and guidelines to manufacture and ensure the product meets quality objectives. Candidates will be required to obtain the necessary tooling and materials, set up the press, inspect parts, obtain inspection for first piece approval and then run parts based upon directions received, utilizing punch presses. Punch presses range from 25 ton to 90 ton.
Prefer 5 years experience setting up and operation of Punch Presses in the metal fabrication industry. Proficiency in the following: blueprint reading; precision measuring instruments, including calipers, gages, and hand tools. Complete understanding of the metal-working industry and shop math; Aerospace industry experience a plus. Must have organizational skills, with ability to set up and operate Punch Press.
